SLCM - R/3 Component Download

Dear all,

I am looking for the SLCM R/3 component download. Could anyone of you kindly advice where can i get it, please.

I checked the IS area in the support portal, i cannot see the component for SLCM.

Hi Sankar Kumar,

SAP SLcM is an industry component and is ready to be activated in ERP (depends on version ofcourse). You need to look out for the 'ISHERCM' components. Please be carefull with activation of BSF's. 99% are not able to be de-installed!

If it is about the getting the the IDES solution please search on 'campus'. If it is about getting the right BP for the portal please search on 'student' in our SAP Service Marketplace.

Dear Sankar Kumar,

Start up transaction SFW5, open the 'Public_Services' (industry extensions for public sector), look out for the ISHERCM and PSCD bfs and activate the correct ones (for example DO NOT activate the UCAS, and LOCNL bsf because these are especially for the UK and Netherlands!. Please also check if you need the others beside the main ones from ISHERCM and PSCD).

Caution! Only reversible business functions can be deactivated. For this reason, activate only required business functions

In case of doubt, read the corresponding documentation!
