Applying SAP note is cross client for MM issue

Dear All,

I am a BASIS guy. In our project i am having multiple cutomer's in one SAP system.My MM consultant is facing issue for one customer for that he advised to apply the SAP note 41715.

Please advice SAP note is cross client or client independent.As it should not affect the other customers.

As for my understanding to fix any bugs/modfications SAP releasing SAP notes those are cross-client only.

program changes are x-client.

but the bespoken programs are not programs that will be executed regulary, it is usually a one time event and used to switch batch level, which is a client-specific change

Sap says this already in the note:

3. Run this report in the clients for which you want to reset batch level to plant level.
