Hi All,
Has anyone been able to resolve this issue ? I have come up with same error message 20504 invalid evaluation paramters in line 0; specify depreciation area . This appears only when I update the existing records. When I create a new Fixed Asset Master Data it is fine . Also al the existing records neither have the planned useful life nor the depreciation start date.
I have seen several forum links and some of the suggest to upgrade to SP3 not sure 2005 or 2008. They are already on SQL server 2008 SP2
Has anyone come across this error ? and if so how to resolve ? I am on 8.81 PL10.
Thanks
Johnson
HI,
Have you checked your MSSQL version and patch,
Fixed assets add-on in 8.8 requires for SQL server 2005 minimum SP03

We are facing error No 20504 as the depreciation area couldnu2019t be selected when adding a master data in the fixed asset module of 8-81. The resolution available on portal is already opted for but in vain the portal accessed page is attached for ready reference.
Using SBO 8.81 PL 4
Upon adding new fixed asset master data, encountering the error "Invalid Evaluation Parameter in line 0. Specified Depreciation Area"...
Also, the selection list of the existing master data is available. However, after i chose an item, no item is retrieved in the fixed asset master data form
