Can we implement SSO without Portal?

If we are going to use SAP ECC and implement SSO, is this possible?

Yes, you can implement SSO to SAP GUI via LDAP authentication.. The kerberos module is used for this.

Thanks for the prompt response Mark.

I need to verify if this is applicable to our system since we are using ECC 6.0 EHP1 and Windows Server 2008 platform.
