Excess production order

Hi,

Could help me figure out why for a Make-to-Order sales order, two productions were generated? The Production Order was already processed (until TECO) but when we ran the MRP, another planned order was generated for the sames sales order. No open quantity for the sales order, and no data was changed for that sales order.

Check in MD04

I feel ,sale order requirement is still exist in system.

if yes

run the program SDRQCR21 in se38

enter material no & plant

with tick in planning file entry and data transfer

system will delete the reqmt and then run the MRP

My follow-up question would be - was this caused by a system error or could this be solved by a change in the configuration? This event/'error' does not happen all the time, if this info might help.

IF sale order is relevant for MRP, system will show - ve qty in MD04

This -ve qty will trigger the MRP requirement

Possible reason is Inconsistency in sale order level

for that reason only

SAP has provided the Correction program SDRQCR21 - recovery of sales and delivery requiremnt

Run Once in SE38 , system will delete the inconsistency sale order requirement In MRP

and then run MRP for the material, system will delete plan order

I'll research some more on what could possibly cause the inconsistencies in sales orders.
