Automated distribution of personalised reports in PDF Format.

We are currently attempting to create a report that when run creates a personalised report; specific to a user id held in our data. The report will be limited to data specific to the user id with output to PDF format. When the report is run it will be automatically emailed to the user id, based on the email address associated with that user id.

Is it possible to do this? Has anyone completed this successfully? We would be delighted, excited and grateful to receive your advice on how this can be achieved.

Yes, this is possible. It's called 'publishing' and is quite easy to set up.

If your recipients aren't Business Objects Users, then you will be creating a 'dynamic recipient' list. I'd suggest a webi report sitting on your list of names, IDs, and E-mails.

The rest is fairly straightforward, just follow the steps in the guide.
