EHP4 installation R3 load.exe error

Hi to All SAP Experts

we are facing issues in installing IDES version of SAP EHP4 for SAERP6.0

Can anyone help in this regard

following is the R3load.exe log file

Hi Rafique,

SAP ERP 6.0 IDES is available on Unicode only.

Hence you need to use a Unicode kernel for this installation.

Hi Rafique,

It looks as if the NLS_CHARACTERSET has been set wrong.

The parameter NLS_CHARACTERSET should be set to UTF8, if Unicode installation is intended.

Parameter NLS_CHARACTERSET should be set to WE8DEC, if non-unicode installation is intended.

As in you case non-unicode kernel should not run against UTF8 database. I suggest to start installation again after setting the parameter NLS_CHARACTERSET to WE8DEC during the Oracle setup.
