Setup activity has at least one mode that does not cover

I have PR in CCR which failed to move to APO. I tried to move through CPP, they are in error with message "Setup activity has at least one mode that does not cover". These PR are for subcontract and have contract number. Contract is CIF to APO but PIR are not yet CIF in APO. PDS is having operation and activity whereas in ECC PV is maintained for material but has no receipe since the material is to be subcontract. I need the help to resolve the error.

I am facing the same issue/error due to which there is a queue block.

Would appreciate experts view on this asap. How to resolve this error.

Hi,

Normally this error will come if you are not assigning a setup phase to the same operation to which its succeeding produce phase is assigned to. This is w.r.to planned order.

ie It is not allowed to define a setup phase to produce phase relation across separate operations. The setup phase as well as its succeeding produce phase must be assigned to the same operation.

Request you to check in PDS if this is valid in your case.
