Plant Attribute issue

Hi all,

i got the below issue,,

DataSource 0PLANT_ATTR does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.

The time stamp in the source system is 03/10/2011 03:10:12.

The time stamp in the BW system is 11/08/2009 23:39:40.

can anyone give soultion what to do now..

Hi Naresh,

The change in time stamp is due to might be due to some body might have installed the content again.

if want the same time stamp to be reflected in both the systems replicate the DS in BW system.

before replicating make sure to check the fileds in data source, if there is any change in the fields(newly added fields) or SAP might have released a new version of DS with new fields added to it.

for ex: 0COSTCENTER_ATTR - sap has released a DS with more fields appended to it when compared to the old one.

when i check in the ecc side some of the fileds are missed in BW,

now do u want to me add those missing fields and then replicate datasource, right?

after that run the infopackage as usuall ....

can u please tell me where extactly time stamp will be avalible in the ECC side.

Was there any service pack upgraed in the ECC side?

That means a new version of DS is being uplaod while the servie upgrade of the system. thats the reason why u can see new fileds in ECC side which are not there in the BW side.

if u want then only replicate the changes and add the missing fileds in BW or else no need to replicate.

rest loading is same.

i dnt know about the service pack whether we upgraded or not.

if it is DS change in ECC, then i need to add new fields in DS BW system they modify the transfrmation.. right?

Hi Naresh

Try replicating datasource and once datasource changes are available in BW if you want to load new attribute values you need to change your transformation to extract the same.

if you still continue to face this problem you can right click on datasource->display datasource in source system

then login to ECC system from login prompt you get and then come back one step.

in this process system automatically checks datasource and in case of incosistency does necessary changes.
