Cost Element Master Data

Hello Guys,

I created a new cost element and inserted that to an element group. However, the description of the inserted cost element under the group is showing up as "No valid master record". I verify the cost element master to be having the name and decription filled. The cost elements that were already under the group has the description correctly. Why is this happening? Please give me some info on this.

Delete this entry and insert it again

Instead of typing the Cost Element No - Try to select from the Dropdown menu

Hi Ajay,

Thank you for your quick reply. I found what was happening. The cost elements validation date is from today. And so I am able to see the description today, which I couldn't see it yesterday even though I was able to insert the element to the group. I had a feeling yesterday that this might be the key, however I thought I will get advice. I thank you again for responding quickly.
