Post-capitalization from order to asset

Hi,

we have settled an order to AuC and then settled the AuC to the finalized asset. The order was closed and depreciation started last year. However, more invoices have now come in and should be added to the asset. We have therefore opened the order again, posted the costs and settled to the AuC and asset. However, we would like the depreciation to adjust so that the entire acquisition value is depreciated from the original depreciation start date. This doesn't happen.

If we post the extra value in transaction code ABNAN it works. Depreciation is adjusted. But I can't see how to get the same functionality when posting via the order. I can see in the settlement rule that there is a field for "transaction type". But when I try to enter the type for Post-capitalization (t type 400), I get an error message saying this is not allowed.

Does anyone know if it is possible to do this? How?

Kind regards,

Moly

Hi

ABNAN is the perfect solution for such cases... Using order and settlement process wont help in this case

If no of invoices are huge, you can create an LSMW for the same
