Error - Planning Parameter for Info structure S997 not maintained.

Dear All,

I have created info structure S997 for consistant planning.

I have maintained required planning parameters using T-Code MC7F.

When I am creating planning hierarchy using T-Code MC61, for above structure it is showing error "Planning parameters for info structure S997 not maintained"

Why this error is comming?

Go to check the MC7F again. Check the following:

- Do you have a field for amount in your info structure? If yes, maintain, exchange rate type, stat. currency.

- If possible maintaining the base unit of measure in MC7F too. I found out that if you have key figure that unit is base unit then this field sometimes need.

- If your planning method is K (consistent planning), enter the storage periodicity (i.e., M for month, or W for week). Please note that if you enter this field, the planning period in your forecast will follow this.

Please check and revert.

But can you please tell me what is use of Exchange Rate Type & Statistical Key?

If you have the key figures defined in your information structure that are amount and the unit is statistics currency (unit 32), then you need to maintain this two fields.
