profitcenter wise authorization

Hi All,

my client is maintain 50 profit cenetrs. they to make authorization for profitcenter wise while posting to gl.

can you tell me how to maintain.

example: one user is aloocated to one profit center. he cannot post the document to oter profit ceneter.

plse help me on this.

Hi,

check SAPNET note 370082 (and related notes, especially 1462516) how it can be done.

Nevertheless the authorization concept design + the maintenance is a painful job...

It should also be possible to use validation rules for your case but I doubt that this can cover all your needs (and it looks difficult to handle for 50 profit-centers and a unknown number of users).
