Portal startup failed during patch 4 upgrade, and persists

Hi

Any help is appreciated on this - i have not had much luck trying to deploy the Patch 4 files on my central instance. The PAR/EPT files are installed into the deployment/pcd and deployment/pcdContent directories, appclear has been run (not on central instance, initial application node) on server2 & server3; the PRTBridge service has been updated and server2/3 have new pcd directories. When i stop the irj application and restart J2EE (central only - dialog in down) it is fine with no errors. As soon as i start IRJ. The following error occurs (note that if i revert back to the original deployment folders it is the same):

Chris,

I had a problem with applying Patch 4, which was resolved by applying Hotfix 7 on top of it. Installing directly from the Patch 4 CD, I have had no problems.

Cheers,

Darren
