PPOM_OLD: Client 500 has status 'not modifiable message

Hi Experts,

After updating support packages in our ECC 6.0 system, while creating positions using T-code PPOM_OLD

system is showing the message Client 500 has status 'not modifiable message.

Please note that the client 500 is production client.

Earlier (before updating support packages) we were able to create the positions without changing the client to modifiable.

Our current patch level is:

SAP_BASIS 700 0023 SAPKB70023 SAP Basis Component

SAP_HR 600 0063 SAPKE60063 Human Resources

We want to create the positions without keeping the production client in modifiable state as we used to do it before updating support packages.

Please guide us to solve this.
