File System Repository can't be assigned to Index

Hi,

we have another problem.

After succesfully creating a file system repository (which also appears in the repository overview) and creating a new index, the file system repository cannot be assigned to the index as describend in the documentation.

The file system repository is not shown in the list, so we cannot assign it to our new index. The "etc"-repository is also not show, but the "documents"-repository in contraty is shown and can be assigned.

What can we do to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Thomas,

A repository needs to have the properties repository service in order to be indexable. Did you choose this service during configuration?

Normally, there is no need to index the etc repository since there are only configuration relevant files stored. In the default settings the properties repository service is not assigned -> etc repository is not listed in the list of data sources.

Kind regards,

Thank you very much for your reply.

We did not choose the "properties" service, after adding the service it works fine.

Kind regards
