Report Painter report for GL Balances for Group chart of accounts

Hi all ,

I want to create GL Balances report ( monthly basis ) for Group chart of accounts . We are not on new GL but on classic GL where no leading ledger etc. is defined . For report painter I created one library using GLT0 table but in GLT0 I am not seeing any characteristic ie chart of accounts .

What table should I use so that I can get characteristic COA. In COA I will enter the group chart of accounts & see the balances.

I believe table FAGLFLEXT is for new GL & not for classic GL .Please clear my doubt on FAGLFLEXT. Regards

You can use SAP ReportWriter on Ledger 00 with Table GLT0 as if it were a Special Purpose Ledger to create Trial Balance Reports, Financial statements, etc. You start by creating a library, Key Figures, etc. Then Reports & Report Groups. I assume you can also use ReportPainter, but I have not needed to do so. Report-to-Report interfaces can use FS10 & FS10N or other standard S_ALR reports.

Hi,

You won't be able to have this report in Report painter. If you notice, the standard report (F.01) is built on ABAP program. The same way you will have to do in order to have different format of your report (one column per month, if I got you right).
