Status problem of network header

Hi,

In my project Netowrk header is attached to project definition but when we release any activity ,the status of netoerk header also getting released . I am trying to find a way which will stop the network header from Releasing.

Looking forward to hear some solution on this.

Thanks for the answers. But my problem is if I release one network activity the network header status is getting released. Our requirement is network header should not get released. Is there any Bapi or SAP note which will stop status to be chnaged

As far as I checked with some examples, the network header only get 'partially released', even if there is only 1 activity, and it is released.

Do you get 'released' or 'Partially released' in your case?

You can apply user-status to forbid the network be released as long as a specified user-status is not set.

Hi,

If you are having several activities under that activity, it should be partial release, but only one activity is there under Network, it would release upon releasing of that activity.

Hi,

This problem should come only if you have a single activity. So, always create a second activity (dummy) & release the one you want. This sets the status of your NW header to "PREL" not "REL".
