Hi experts,
I'm loading data from a custom extractor from SAP R/3. Then I load this data to ODS and when I activate it I get the next error: "Value '#' (hex. '2300') of characteristic Z0ORD_CLI contains invalid characters. Message no. BRAIN059"
My extractor works fine in R/3. The field mapped to Z0ORD_CLI (Customer Order Number) contains the character "u20AC" and when I extract data from Tx RSA3 I can see the "u20AC" character in the correct field but when I execute my infopackage in BIW the PSA contains the character "#" instead of "u20AC".
I have added the "u20AC" char in Tx. RSKC but i'm getting the same error when i try to activate the ODS again and again.
Any idea about how to solve this????
Thanks!!

Hi,
please also check SAP note 447596.
The u20AC sign can be transfered properly only if both systems (source and target) are based on Unicode.

Hi Daniel,
Can you check your system unicode? go sm59 and look at the connection the source system with unicode tick. If not, select unicode.
