Personnel Actions & Actions

Hello Team,

I have two questions about Actions.

1. Is it true that only ONE Personnel Action can be entered in a day? If more than one is entered the prior Personnel Actions entered in that day will be overwritten. If more than one Personnel Actions is required the Additional Actions has to be used.

2. Are there other 'Actions' in SAP besides Personnel Actions?

A) There is Applicant actions in SAP HCM besides Personnel Actions, check PB40

Answer - You can have multiple personnel actions in a day, the only actions that will restrict you from having more than one are the actions with change in employment status, ex. you could have multiple transfer and promotions for the employee since they do not effect the employment status - the employee is till in active status.

But you cannot hire and terminate an employee on the same day since it triggers 2 different employment status on the same day.

2 Are there other 'Actions' in SAP besides Personnel Actions?
