TEm - ABAP error when booking people on courses - table T77REFDOC

Good morning

In our DEV and QAS clients I am suddenly unable to book people on courses and I am getting ABAP error "The ABAP/2 Open SQL array inserts results in duplicate database records. The current ABAP program SAPLHRTEM00REFDOC had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed."

Our ABAP person reproduced my issue and he ascertained that the problem occurred when trying to create duplicate entries in table T77REFDOC (Reference Document Table: Training and Event Management). The first test had document number 773 and a subsequent test had document 774. The last document currently in the table is 5692.

Research that we have done has identified that field MANZL has been added to table T77REFDOC and that a conversion report RHREFDOCMANZL needs to be run to move attendees from QUANTITY to MANZL.

Although we are not actually doing billing/doing activity allocation we do have the integration for Billing and Activity Allocation both set to yes and have had them set to yes since we went live back in 2003!

Do you recommend just running the report RHREFDOCMANZL in SE38? Has anybody else experienced this problem?

many thanks

Dawn

Hi Dilek

No it isn;t related as we are not using the Finance side. I logged an OSS and this is a common problem and it is due to an issue with HRTEM_REFN.

I compared table T77REFDOC with HRTEM_REFN in SPRO and made sure that both the numbers became the same - this resolved the problem.

Kind regards

Hi Dawn,

Please check SAP NOTE 1468959 - Runtime error when viewing credit memo document details.

It is about the same object.

Can it be related to your case?

I have run RHREDOCMANZL manually in SE38 and records have transferred, however still unable to book attendees on. Any ideas?

Thank you
