An error occurred when connecting to the accounting system ID3DEV310

Hi Friends,

We are Implementing collaboration project 4.5 and want to link with project system in ECC 6.0. Both these are in the different servers.

I have done the configuration on both the servers and also maintain the RFC (ID3DEV310) in Object Links.

When I create or open the existing project I get the following error: "An error occurred when connecting to the accounting system ID3DEV310"

Costing Variant taken is PS01 (Project Planning).

Your reply would be highly appreciated.

Hi Aryan,

Difficult to answer with only this error message.

Have you try to reach the controlling cockpit (transaction COCPCPR in the accounting system), in order to get more details about the error?

Hi Matthias,

I run the T-code:COCPCPR in ECC 6.0 server, but it shows "No message exists"

So when I open or create project in cprojects it shows the same error "An error occurred when connecting to the accounting system ID3DEV310"

What all object links, RFC destination (where all) have you specified?

List them out... something might be missing out...

Hi Deepak,

I have assigned the RFC destination and web server to the object type: "0WBSELEMENT" only

Also the same has been done for define Object links for accounting integration "0FIN_INT_ERP_PS"

I have entered these specific to PS objects only.

Maybe a stupid question: is the RFC destination working fine (connection + authorizations)?

Yah Matthias, i can connect from PLM cprojects to ECC 6.0 through RFC where i did configuration of controlling scenarios and cost/revenue rate.

I read all help docs and forums to check if i miss out some config.
