Hi

As you are already working in SAP, it is not needed on immediate basis to take up certification. Instead you can pursue your job, gain some experience and then think about certification.

For your information, there are couple of ways you can take up certification, first attending training at any authorized training centers, here the fees is pretty high, or the other option is gain experience of 3 years in that module and then you can take up certification directly without attending any training.

Dear Vishwa,

Thanks for your helpful answer but i want to know in which SAP module there is a good scope Technical(Eg. ABAP, BO, BI) or Functional(eg. FI, MM, PM)?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi

Which module depends on various factors like your education background, your domain experience, your interests in any paricular area etc...

When it comes to functional part of SAP, employers generally look for candidates who have domain experience in the module the candidate is applying a job for. For example, a person who is specialized in SAP FI module, and who has domain experience in Finance, has more advantage than the person whose background and domain experience are not in Finance.

For technical part though, if your background is from computers or any other similar graduation, it will help in learning technical areas of SAP to an extent. In general, people from technical background always prefer Technical areas of SAP.

So, it is upto you. There is always something new coming up in SAP. If it suits your interests, go ahead and pursue it. All modules in SAP are important, and are in demand.
