but it is not displaying the relevant update rules/transfer structures etc., generally cube activation will bring all the relevant objects below till datasource/transfer rules.

any help?

There is an OSS note which describes certain BW patch levels having issues where transfer rules/transformations disappear from BI content on the BW instance. I believe it applies to 7.0.19 and older, if I recall. Might want to search for it and take a look.

Hi Girish ,
Please follow these steps :
1 . reactivate datsource .
2. Reload infopackge
3. check all required infoObjects are transferred or not .
4. check whether all rules are getting satisfied in BI or not .Otherwise you need to do some firld level routine changes .
5. Go to SE38, there is RSActivate Activate all transfer rule program and run that program to make sure all your inactive transfer structures are active. If you have made changes, reactivate the transfer rules.
Hope this will be helpful.

Jaya

Dear Jaya,
Thanks for ur reponse.
i tried activation/reactivation of datasource 0HR_PY_1 many times, both at ecc & BI side. when i tried thru program RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL it says "no datasources with these attributes", whereas i can c this datasource in datasource tab in active mode
and no changes to transfer rules as the problem is in the process of activating the cube and the relevant transfer rules/transformation.
still the prob persists
