I'm working on a label that needs to print text in English and French. We have some French text maintained in a database table and when we try to display that on the sapscript label the french accents do not print correctly.
"Colis Accélérés" is in the database
"Colis AccUlUrUs" is what prints on the label
I tried replaceing "é" with "82" (i.e."Colis Acc82l82r82s"), but this prints "Colis Acc$82l$82r$82s"
I'm logged into SAP as English. Has anyone run into this before?
Thank you,
Hi,
It sounds like the HEX values of the characters are not supported by the Latin-1 character set of device type ZLZ_LEB2.
Try printing via smartform and unicode device type LZEBU2 as per note #750002. With this method, the third party Zebra software is not needed. You can jut use a regular smartform.

Aidan

This is sapscript with front end printing using Zebra Designer software (formerly Barone for R/3).
