Clearing CDB tables

We have stopped using Mobile Sales and I want to know how to clear the CDB tables.

We have deactivated the items in the mobile bridge but want to now empty all the tables

Can anyone help?

    Hello James,

Once you've stopped using the mobile sales(data sync is not checked in txn. CMWC_SMW) , I don't think there's a generic report to delete all the CDB tables.

What you can probably do is to check in txn. DB02 about the various CDB tables which have grown large in size and then you can drop them.

    Thanks,

    Rohit

    Hi ,

You can use the FM 'BDM_GET_CDB_TABLES' that gives all the CDB tables and delete the data manually in Trxn se16. But this would be very time consuming.

There is a report that can be provided. But you would have to contact SAP Support via OSS for this. CDB_Tables_Delete

    Best Regards,

    Gervase

We have an OSS message for this and have the report but sadly it has not been working.

However, during some debugging today, I can see that the report is actually working but then fails on deletion of SMOBNKA, becuase of a deadlock, we think and then this causes the whole lot to roll back.

we will keep investigating and update the OSS

      Thanks

      James
