Reg : Print Control in Smart forms

I am working with MICR printer. For this i had already created Print controls in SPAD. In Smart forms im Using COMMAND node to display MICR characters. I am sure that printer settings was100% correct. Every thing related to Configuration also correct.. But i am not able to display MICR characters on Print mode on Paper.

I am using like the following:

->Command Node>Print Control: ZMON

-->Text Node(With required inputs to print on Check)

Please let me know if any thing was wrong on the above at the time of providing in Smart forms.

    Firstly take a look at SAP note #94233 about support for MICR printing regarding device types etc.

    Usually for MICR printing, you need to add the commands in the print control of the font as defined in the device type via transaction SE73.

    SE73 -> Printer Fonts -> <Device type> ->

    e.g. For device type HPLJMI, you will see fonts like MICR_E with print control SF450. In the print control SF540 is the command to switch the printer to MICR font.

    So you need to create a font in SE73 for your device type and add the print control with the command to switch the prnter to MICR font. Then you just assign this font to the text in your form that you want to print as MICR.

    If your printer is a HP printer with JetMobile MICR module, you just need to use device type like HPLJMI and assign font MICR_E.

      Hi Aidan,

      First of all Thank you very much for your valuable time spending for my problem.

      I had checked that Output devices and changed the Fonts as like your suggestions. But my Doubt is how can i use this Print controls in Smart forms.

      Because In COMMAND NODE of smart form i had assigned the Print Control but it was not affected the text display in print preview. Does this affect at the time of Print on Printer or Print preview also?

      Give any hints for how can i use this in Smart form?

    Solved by self.

    Used print controls in Smart forms :

    First place on text node and Type : <32> (Place holder)

    Then Take on command node: and provide Print-Control Name

    Then Take on text node : Place Actual value with required Character which will identify the MICR printer

      Hi Venkat,

      Could you please elaborate how to us the commands in smart form to display MICR font.

      As I am into similar situation. Created a Smart form similar to F110_PRENUM_CHCK script as the layout for the standard is totally different from the requirement, and the driver program RFFOUS_C was made to Z program to call the Smart form.

      Now my question is how to call the MICR font details in Smart form?

      Appreciate your response.
