Hello solman ,
I have some solution in Dev solution Manger system 7.0 EHP1 SP24, need to transport the solution to Qas and PRD solution Manager system.
It is possible to move like Transports or other ways ?
If yes, please explain what should we do.
Regards,
Karthik
Hello.
You might want to have a look at Solution_transfer, however this only will transfer Documents, Issues, Top Issues and Expert on Demand Requests and Service Plans.
There is an export and import function.
Typically Solution Manager installations do not follow the DEV, QAS, PRD strategy for Transports.
For instance you can't activate BC Sets on a DEV SOlman and transport those BC SETs to a QAS Solman.
They need to be activated locally on each solman system. This is not true of other System types in the main.
So there is not a complete solution or tool set for migration or transporting of Solution Manager data from one system to another.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Paul

Hi
There is an option of project transport in solman(Tcode SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN),so if u click this button, it create a transport request for the project you had created and then import this transport request into the solman system u want to import.
In case your other solman system not with your landscape.then please can proceed as manual copy of data file,co file.

You can use transaction SOLAR_MIGRATION to migrate projects between Solution Managers without transport path. It has an Export and Import option.
The Export will create some files on you local disk / network and a transport request with the files on the SAP server in the transport folders.
You need to copy those files in to the equivalent transport folders of your target Solution Manager and then import them on it using the same transaction and import option.
Please let me know if you need more details. Done it on completely different solution Managers with different service packs levels before.
Hi,
I don't think so you can transport this. You need to do this manually in the system.
Thanks
Sunny
