Split Valuation

Hi All,

I need to perform initial stock upload for split valuation materials. while doing this, i'm getting an error which says, "Valuation type is missing". Can anyone help me on this.

Hi dear,

From the error it is clear that you have activated split valuation for that material but not maintain the same.

Go to MM01->Select the accounting view manitain the values for split valuation and then save.

Since you have activated slpit valuation and while uploading the material u havent mention the valuation type of the material so u are getting the error.

Proceed as above.

Hi ,

Please go to MM01 and create Accounting Views for the Valuation type you are trying to perform goods movement .

For Example : Material 1 >> Now I want to post to Valuation type -- 111

So first I will create material header segment using MM01 mention valuation category in Accounting view 1

secondly in MM01 I will create Accounting view for valuation type .

Please check whether the material for Stock Upload has been extended for the valuation types in Material Master.

Hi,

I think you have made the material with split valuation and you have assign some valuation type for the materials, but while uploading you are not giving valuation type in which stock to be updated.

Hi,

please tell us why you have activated split valuation for this material? also what is the basis of it.

lets say if you have activated split valuation based on batches then batch will be your valuation type without which any material document will not be saved.
