Template in Smartforms

Hi,

In SmartForm Template when unit of measurements of row heights are given in 'LN' it is observed that when '<= Table Painter' button is clicked, the measurements are changing when returned to '=> Details' mode.

But, when unit of measurement is 'CM' or MM this not happening.

Why is this phenomenon ?

Hi,

When the measurement is LN and then you switch to the Details screen, there are some 'rounding' calculations. The smartforms composer works with unit Twips (1 TW = 1/1440 inch). So all coordinates etc are converted to TWs before they are used. Using unit MM can help to minimise the changes.

Will this conversion happen repeatedly? Because I observed it happened many a times. So is that just conversion of units or still something more?

After all the adjustments are completed on template, I have used CM / MM alternatiely that worked.

Hi Vamshi,

It worked.

By defining each row separately, it worked. If i am giving a range of rows, then every time system is dividing the current measurement value with no. of rows at run time and generating different numbers in Height field of Template. So every time it is changing.
