Two Product Hierarchies?

Hi Gurus,

Kindly can any of had used two product hierarchies in same instance one for global & another for local country, if yes then hw was it maintained and what is the implications in planning & finance etc.

Hi Rk,

There are 2 product hierarchy fields on the material - MARA-PRDHA and MVKE-PRODH.

It is possible to use different values between these 2 fields but the issue is MVKE-PRODH is the one used in sales docs and therefore pricing and costing and copied into FI docs.

If you want to use more than 1 hierarchies the structure for both must be the same.

An idea on structure: we currently use: 2/3/3/3/3/4 in table PRODH.

You could use the idea that local is part of global so 2 is the global part and the remainder is the local part.
