VAT Information Exchange System (VIES)

Hi

I have been searching around and I cannot find any information on this with regard to SAP.

http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/faqvies.do

It is now EU legislation that VAT registration details are checked and to assist in this a WSDL web service has been provided.

http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/checkVatService.wsdl

Is there any standard process in SAP for making use of this webservice?
