Hi,

In material master I selected V as valuation price and system accept also 0 as value.

How can I prevent this with an error message ?

I tried to add the message M3131 with trx OMT4 but is not visible in the list and the list doesn't allow furthers entries.

Hi!

The message M3131 "With price control V, enter a moving average price" is hard-coded in the program as a warning or an information message.

There is not any option in the standard system to set it as an error message.

The only possibility consists on modifying the standard program.

See also the long text of the message:

"Though it is necessary to enter a moving average price/periodic unit price for the system to valuate the stock of the material correctly when goods movements are made, it is not mandatory to do so at the moment. The system updates the price here automatically at the time of the first goods movement at the latest."

I dont this you can add M3-131 as error messaged, because it is not part of standard code.
