While creating a sale order with reference of an order. i want to check that if the sold to party differs from that of reference order it gives an error message to a user saying Sold to party differ from reference order and stop the user save the order.
When u creating a sales order with reference to sales order, then u dont need to enter the sold to party, It will automatically picked up the sold to party of reference sale order.
I think you can achive with copy control, customized routine - Select VTAA , your ref order and order type, goto heade - " opying requirements for partner data VBPA" there write copy only refernce order sold party & not modifible.
