Alignment issues on SAP VC iViews 7.0

Hi All

I am on VC SP 22.I am working on a model which has multiple layers and all of them are linked to each other through Wizards.

Now all the layers have different sizes. The outermost iView which has all these layers has its propert "Fit Content" set as "Actual Size" and Layout method as "Absolute" due to which i cannot drag the individual frames to set their position. If i set the Layout method as "Fit Vertical" or "Fit Horizontal" and choose the option Window Dragging all the iViews get aliged in the topmost corner.

With the current settings as a user navigates from one screen to another on portal there are lot of empty spaces beneath the screens which have less number of UI elements because the size of each screen is adjusted as per the biggest Form/Screen.

Is there any way through which i can control the individual screen size instaed of only controlling itthrough the main Iview.

Please suggest

Thanks a lot for your help

Regards

Shweta

    • Hi,

you can't change the size of each layer to fit to it's content. All of these layers belong to one iView and an iView can only have one size - the size of the largest layer in your case. The only solution I can think of is having one iView for each layer and send data between them via properties.

      Best regards
