How to apply patch in MAXDB

Hi All,

I need to apply patch on Maxdb 7.7.04.28 to 7.7.04.33 to fix kernel crash bug WEBPTS 1170780.

Please help me for the below points.

1.As i checked on SMP > Database Patches> SAPDB and Maxdb their didn't find the patch 7.7.04.33.

2.Please let me know how to apply a patch on maxdb.

On the SMP only the latest versions are available. If you need an older one you need to open an OSS call.

It's advised though to install the latest patch.

Is it possible to use the newer version 7.7.07.29?
