Reviewer Property

Hi Guys

I am a complete newbie to BPC, I have got a BPC 7.5 for Microsoft system using BusinessObjects authentication. I have added Reviewer to the Category Dimension however when I try to process the dimension I get the error "Your Excel sheet or source table must include the REVIEWER property." I have added a user to the Reviewer column in the Dimension spreadsheet but I still get the issue. What am I doing wrong ?

OK, I have re installed BPC with Windows Authentication. Made a copy of the APSET application Set. I then goto the P_CC Dimension, open the Dimension properties and add Reviewer. Size 255. Save the Properties. I open the members spreadsheet and the Reviewer column is there. I populate the column with DomainName\Username. Save to Server.

I then Process the dimension and still get the - Your Excel sheet or source table must include the REVIEWER property.

Hi,

Have you tried with the administrator ID? Does that work fine?

As a Test I added the Reviewer Property to the P_CC dimension. I am only processing that dimension.

Hmmmm....very strange. Is P_CC your entity type dimension? Please check if you have added this property in any other dimension or not??? Do you have any other entity type dimension?

You are adding this property in which dimension? Are you selecting all the dimensions while processing?

Yep, that's what I have done. In my E Type Dimension I go into the Properties of the Dimension and Add Reviewer with the size of 255. I then go into the member sheet. The Reviewer column has automatically been created. I then process the Dimension and get the error whether or not I populate the cells in the reviewer column.

Thanks for the answer, however I still can't get it to work. Could you list the steps you would go through to set this up from scratch. I am a complete newbie.

Hi,

Whenever you are creating any property, you need to click on the dimension and then go to the maintain property. Add you property name. Then go to the member sheet and find the column with the property name. If not there, then add it manually.

Hi,

Firstly, you need the owner and the reviewer properties in the entity dimension (or any other which is driving your business).

Secondly, you have added a column in the member sheet for the reviewer. Apart from this, you need to go to the member property and add reviewer, there.
