Hi Experts,
For my account search, i have different categories like:
All Accounts
Corporate Accounts
Individual Accounts .... etc...
And all these have diff configurations in the BSP Component.
Say if i do a Corporate account search with certain search criteria, and save this search.
After retrieving the saved search, if i try to "Edit Search", the search config which comes up is that for "All Accounts".
So this gives the wrong result. I would like to know if the config is saved during saved search or just the query criteria?
If the config is saved.. how to rectify my issue of the the wrong Config coming up?
Regards,
Heera
Hi Heera,
I've just retested this and here the saved-search also keeps the right Search-Configuration.
So I have saved a specific Search for Individual Account and I left the application.
Starting from any other area (here Opportunities) I've executed the saved Search again and the Results have been displayed immediatly.
Now I've checked which Search-Configuration has been executed and this was the search for Individual Accounts.
Best regards,
Arno

Hi Arno,
Yes... you are right...
when you retrieve the saved search, it gives the right result.
But when i try to edit the saved search criteria, the config that comes up is of "All Accounts"
is there is a way to default it to config of Corporate accounts? or to retrieve the config with which the the saved search was stored?
Regards,
Heera
Hi Arno...
Did u search with "not" the default config? say if "All accounts" is the default one, did u search with "Corp Accounts" and save it? and retrieved it? and also one more thing... I am getting this issue when "Corp Accounts" have diff search criteria than the "All Accounts" search.
Thanks for taking time and checking it.
Regards,
Heera
Hi Heera,
I've tried this for individual Accounts and for corporate Accounts and I've also used the different Search-Terms (Terms which are only available for Corp Accounts).
The behavior for the different Saved Searches always was correct.
However the configuration I've just tested has not offered negative operators, but I've also used operators like "contains" and "Starts with".
Best regards,
Arno
Hi Heera,
As per your query, you can check table-CRMD_SHORTCUT or CRMT_DYN_QUERY where the saved searches are mainatined for a user at position or a business role level.
