Hi All,

I want to know regarding WS RM protocol, whether monitoring can be done in sender and receiver systems also apart from XI?

Like for eg: In case of IDoc, we can check in sender system whether idoc is sent succesfully to XI or not.

Please help.

Regards,

Loveena

You can monitor the messages from TA: sxi_monitor on the sender and provider system.

When the scenario is using WS-Adapter and the operation is asynchrnous you will get 5 messages in sxi_monitor.

They will be with pipeline WS_SENDER - msg processed on consumer side, WS_IS_SERVER - msg processed on IS Inbound, CENTRAL - Msg processed on XI IEN, WS_IS_SENDER - msg processed on server side, WS_SERVER - msg processed on provider side. You can see those messages only on the respecitve ABAP system.

Thanks Aashish,

However is there a way to monitor the messages sent on the sender system?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Loveena,

I din't used it for sender side, but for receiver side. I create a WS Receiver for Direct Connection. If you create a Direct connection for WS RM, you can monitor it from SXI_Cache->Direct Connection. This is the only way where you get information about WS for Senter and Receiver service/party. In this place only you will see all logs related to WS.

Hi,

At configuration time of Sender channel, when you are creating your communication channels in the Integration Directory, there

is a new type of adapter called u201CWeb Serviceu201D(WS).

Also the protocol is automatically set to u201CWS-RM 2005/02u201D in the reliable message setting. The Integration Directory replicates all the required web service and cache configuration to every SAP backend system. The providers services published on the back-end systems are also automatically generated by the Integration Directory.

You can have look into SXI_Cache->Profile.
