What are the security parameters in ESO

Hi,

As sourcing is deployed on the NetWeaver Java Application Server. So the the corresponding Security Guides also apply to Sourcing . If this the case then following portal logon and password security parameter are applicable for ESO.

Minimum Length of Logon ID:

Maximum Length of Logon ID:

Minimum Number of Digits in Logon ID:

Minimum Number of Special Characters in Logon ID:

Minimum Number of Lowercase Letters In Logon ID:

Properties Related to Passwords

Minimum Length of Password:

Maximum Length of Password:

Minimum Number of Mixed Case Letters in Password:

Minimum Number of Alphanumeric Characters in Password:

Minimum Number of Special Characters in Password:

Size of Password History:

Impermissible Passwords:

Password Maximum Idle Time:

Let me know if there are any other parameter for security settings.

Hi Digambar,

I dont think so. ESourcing has its own set of Security Properties which needs to be set. It does not take or read the properties from portal.

Once you install the ESO and login as System user . Goto System properties and you will find the security proprties there.

Portal is just a holder of this application.

One more question whether java security parameter is applicable for ESO security?

Hi,

Once you install E-Sourcing/CLM, you will get a Help above in the ESO portal.

You will get the information from there.

JAVA secutiry parameters will have no effect on ESO. AS ESO has its own set of parameters.
