Error while activating templates

HI team , We are trying to activate a technical monitoring for an SID , but while assigning template to a Host we are getting error

Cannot change template assignments to <host name>; managed-object specifc settings exist

I can see a tick mark in front of MO-Specific Tab for the host. How to deactivate that

Hello Vishnu,

If "MO-Specific settings" are flagged, first thing you would need to do is to deactivate it. In order to do this, please select the affected managed host --> Click on "Maintain MO-Specific Settings" --> Change to Edit Mode and Expert Mode --> Click on "Reset all settings" --> Click on "Save".

For your reference, please look up the SAP KBA 2077497 - Cannot change the template assignments.

Only in case you cannot reset the MO-Specific settings through the stated method, you may need to apply the latest version of the SAP Note 2216375 - MAI Metric Variant and MO template inconsistency cleanup and execute the installed report "MAI_REP_REMOVE_JUNK_ENTITIES" as describes the SAP Note.
