Replace existing ESS Role with a New Role

Hi All,

We have 5 roles (including ESS) assigned to a user XYZ. Now I have created a new role ESS_ALL which needs to be replaced with ESS. Now under user administration for user XYZ, I have removed ESS role and added ESS_ALL role. However, this is not being reflected when I login XYZ. I made Entry Point 'Yes'.

However, when I Trace Delta Links, I see nothing for the new Role ESS_ALL. Am I missing something? Is anything else to be done?

Please suggest.

P.S.: I am very new to Portal Content Development. If the Q is too basic, please bear it.

Probelm with the user XYZ. This is workign for all the others. Basis team has resolved the issue.

What exacly is happen? The ESS Role is not apearing anymore? The old role keeps being showed?

What you mean when you say that if you Trace Delta Links you can not see nothing? Have you copied the role from the original one?

Have you tryed to add the role for a new user? What happens?
