How can I restrict users from selecting parant dimension members in CV?

Hi experts,

I have an input schedule and I want to restrict users from selecting PARENT LEVEL dimemson members from the action pane(or MNU_eTOOLS_MEMBERSELECTOR_X). if this is not possible, Can I send a WARNING MSG when the dimension users selected is NOT a basemember?
