Access SAP Workflow via BRF+

Hi Experts,

Can anyone explain to me what is the relation between sap business workflow and BRF+?

I am interested to know how we can access the workflow decision table via BRF+?

And if we access the workflow via BRF+, that means we modify the workflow it self? or we create kind of variant or different version?

Hello John,

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking here, but I will try to answer.

As you no doubt know, BRF+ is a 'business rules management system'; a rules engine.

It can interact with workflow in the following ways:

- a workflow can be directly triggered from BRF+ (via an 'action')

- a workflow event can be raised by BRF+ (a big improvement over the original BRF)

Going in the other direction, BRF+ rules can be wrapped up in methods (or web services) and called from workflow.

For example, to determine approval levels.

Does this answer your question? I'm not sure what you mean by 'workflow decision tables'.
