Hi Experts ,
I have upgrading 7.5M SP4 with adding dimensions but BPC will not allow to click OK when processign complete.
But the processing complete sucessfully showing message, but it will allow to click OK it is disabled.
If I try to close intentionally(like click 'X') its showing pop up shows :still application running.
I am forcing to close it in Task Manager,When I access BPC again, after logging off and logging back on, the
dimension shows to be updated correctly. Please suggest.

Hi,
Just wanted to check with you that when you say that the processing was done completely, do you mean that in the status box in the processing box, was it showing processing successful in green?

Hi Dries, I had this issue and worked directly with SAP on it.
Our issue was corrected based on these recommendations provided by them:
1- Uncheck the checkbox for 'Maximum virtual memory (in megabytes) from
the 'Recycling' tab of the Defaulappool properties in IIS
2- Uncheck the checkbox for 'shutdown worker process after being idle' from the 'Performance tab'
3- Issue an IISRESET
It all came down to memory management...
We are currently dead in the water with our upgrade if we cannot resolve this. This issue happens every time we attempt to process a dimension with new members, or process the applications. I'm even unable to optimize one of my applications because of this issue. The outcomes are all the same: unable to click "OK" once the processing completes.

Any insight on this issue would be helpful. I, too, am experiencing these EXACT issues that Rohit and VYVadan are experiencing. We are about 6 months into upgrading from 4.2 to 7.5. When we first started, this was never an issue, but it starting happening about 2 weeks ago. I have reviewed a lot of log details and nothing is suggesting an issue.

I saw this problem to other customer.
But tthis happen usually when you upgrade but you didn't process after that the existing dimensions and applications.
So actuallythe upgrade process was not completed.
So I suggest to take one by one the dimensions and to process them and after that to go trough all the applications and to do modify applications with full process.
After you performed these tasks the issue with button ok not being enable should disapear.

Hi sorin ,
You suggested ,the upgrade process was not completed. So do I need to re start the process or any suggesition for New Dimension process. If I do one by one dimension and then process means does this dimensions are properly adding or else?
Why this popup is occuring and rest the process is running fine.
I have reviewed different applications
Modify Application screens shows
The task has been sucessfully completed
Optimize application Screen shows same
Application Count : 1
application Name :OPS1_Daily
Process Type : Full Optimize
This Optimization process never goes beyond successfully completed, its strucked middle.

First I have mentioned

Hi Yadav,
Dis you got any solution to this issue as I am also facing same problem while Modify Application and selecting Process Application option. The bottom line is saying the job done but not releasing the Modify Application dialog box and forcing to come out via Task Manager by killing the process.
Thanks & Regards,
Rohit
