Statistical delivery date is blank on changing delivery date

Hi experts,

Kindly help me with the following issue:-

Whenever in a PO before/after the output of the message,if we are changing the delivery date,the statistical delivery date is coming as blank.Why is it so?

Please help.

Hi,

Thats correct ...

The system inserts the delivery date into this field in the following cases:

You do not enter a statistical delivery date.

You change the delivery date, have not entered a statistical delivery date, and the PO or scheduling agreement delivery schedule has not yet been transmitted to the vendor.

Stastical delivery date is useful when you do not enter delivery date for yourself

If you are changing the delivery date the same is used by the system for delivery performance of the vendor in vendor evaluation and other planning purposes for e.g.MRP

Hi,

The po is created manually.

Kindly help me how to protect the field Statistical delivery date to be blank instead of it behaving as standard SAP does.

It should rem,ain as the Delivery date before outputting instead of the blank.

if this is caused by a SAP bug (and not thru own coding in some user exits) then it can and should only be solved by SAP.

if it is caused by wrong coding in exits then your local ABAPer has to fix his coding.
