Hi,
I have an EvDRE which contains data and charts. Now i have to include these charts in BPC for powerpoint. The main constraint is to populate only the graph/chart not the data and the graph has to be dynamic not static. Any ideas and suggestions!!!

Surya Tamada.
Hi,
I dont think this can be kept dynamic.

I may be wrong, but when I experimented with this a while ago, I came to the conclusion that Word and Powerpoint take the "Current View" from Excel at the time that the graph or table from BPC is inserted into Powerpoint or Word and that there is no way to update this in the current version.
The only thing you can make dynamic is inserting one cell at a time into a word table, but I had problems with that too, it seemed that I could not adjust the formatting so that a number would be presented in a format with dollar signs, and commas. I was using XP, and BPC 7.0 SP5.

Thank you very much for the reply.
We tried to solve it in a different way. Just copied the chart into powerpoint and right click to edit and used EvGET function to update the values. its working fine for now. But really have to check whether it is gonna sustain all future demands. I think power point and word are not as sophisticated as excel... needs a lot of stuff to be added in future.
Kind Regards,
Surya Tamada.
