Bdoc error "From-date may not be greater than to-date"

Hi,

Can you please help us clear this bdoc error message:

Partner XXXXXXXXXX (where X is a business partner number)

"From-date may not be greater than to-date"

Partner is not maintained in table BUT000.

The BP exists in ECC, but when we check the BP in CRM, it does not exist. We tried to request load for that bp but still it doesn't exist. Can you please let us know how to clear this. Thanks!

regards,

Mike

Hi,

You first need to check where the from-date is greater than to-date. Check the bdoc data structures to find out where the dates are maintained. After that do the same in ECC. Once you find it, correct the dates and try a request load.

Hi Prasenjit,

Thanks for your reply. Actually, that's our problem. We can't see where or what table this "from-date and to-date" is maintained. Can you please give us a hint where to find these?

Mike

Hi,

I tried to look for it in my own system, but could not find a validity date except for BP Relationships. Would you be able to debug the BDOC while its reprocessing and see where it fails. Also you might be able to see the error message in SMW01 and check the message class and message no.

Hi Prasenjit,

I already requested one of our resource to debug the fm to check where the error occurs.

By the way, is this what you need:

Partner XXXXXXXXXX: the following errors occurred

Message no. BUPA_MW_EXCHANGE010

Partner data processed with key PartnerGUID XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Message no. BUPA_INTERFACE007

Partner data processed with key PartnerID XXXXXXXXXX

Message no. BUPA_INTERFACE007

From-date may not be greater than to-date

Message no. R1137

Validation error occurred: Module CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL, BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.

Message no. SMW3018

Thanks!

Regards,

Mike

Hi,

I checked the message R1-137 and it is called directly from two programs LBUR_CHECKU01and LBUSWU52. One of them in BP relationships and the other is for BDT. Can you set a break-point at these two functions and see if there are any errors. Also check the BP relationship details e.g. contact persons for the customer.

Regards

Prasenjit
