Provisioning GRC UME Roles via CUP

Hi All,

I am having trouble provisioning GRC UME roles via CUP.

We deployed the EP RTA on the GRC server.

Created a connector between CUP and UME server.

Completed field mapping.

The connector works but the roles will not import.

Am I missing any steps?

Portal does not exist on the GRC server but it is my understanding this should still work.

What is the error that you get when you are trying ti import the roles in CUP?

Sorry, not to hijack this thread. The error message is at top left corner " Action failed.".

The userid already has been assigned the portal role "pcd:portal_content/administrator/super_admin/super_admin_role"

just checked again and saw that the web URI in the 2009 documentation "How To Configure SAP BusinessObjects Access Control 5.3 and SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.0" was slightly incorrect.

In document:

"http://server:port/UserroleSearchForAEService_5_3/Config1?wsdl&style=document"

Correct:

"http://server:port/UserRoleSearchForAEService_5_3/Config1?wsdl&style=document"
