Data Retraction Configuration

Hi all,

We are configuring retraction functionality, using UPR_COST_PLAN_EXEC and UPR_COST_PLAN_INIT functions, most of the

parameters were already setted.

What is missing in our configuration is the sender structure parameter, we understand that we need to create

a sender structure (at BW) and a receiver structure (at R/3). Please it would be very helful for us if you can send

any kind of information related to this configuration, as if transactions needed for creation, maintainance, transfer rules, etc.

Do you know also how to configure or validate the RFC_DEST parameter?

Any information will be helpful.

Thanks!!!!!!

If I decide to continue developing the exit function...when I complete the parameter exit functions, I should also select the "fields to be changed". should I always select next fields although I dont have them in my cube? 0FISCPER3, 0COSTCENTER, 0COSTELMNT, 0ACTTYPE, 0PART_CCTR, 0PART_ACTTY, 0STKEYFIG.

when creating the transfer rules in the structure (UPB_RULE), can I add a new field in the R/3 structure or I can only use the default ones??

thanks!

hI

are you using BI-IP or BPS?

and what Cost Center data are you retracting back? .

The RFC_DEST is the RFC connection name to your R/3 system.

Hi.

Is it COPA retraction ?

Why you don't use the standard retraction mechanism ?
